Chloe’s Fall/Winter Looks Sure to Please Collegiates

Chloe’s Ready-to-Wear collection for Fall/Winter 2006 will solve many back-to-school shopping dilemmas for collegiate debutantes. With a mix of pastel colors and earthy browns and neutrals, the pieces can match existing pieces in a wardrobe.

Chloe’s ideal is fun, flirty, and feminine, and the cropped loose-fitted pants and fun layered tank top bring comfort to style. The preppy sweater paired with a white starched blouse and a flowing knee-length skirt will be a fashion staple for the twentysomethings this season.

A long baby-blue trench coat with buttons and a loose fit works well over any outfit, even full skirts.

Chloe’s dresses for the season might take a little getting used to for Americans, although I can somehow see the mod squad Brits liking the full knee-length dresses with long sleeves and gigantic black-and-white floral patterns, although it might remind those on the other side of the Atlantic a little too much of Carol Brady.
The tights, Victorian-style booties, and the mid-calf knit socks are definitely worth having for the season.
